How does the surf rack work? What types of board can you carry?
The surf rack is an add-on fitted to the e-bike that allows you to transport your surfboard (shortboard, longboard, or mini-malibu) to the spot.
What's the difference between the child seat and the child trailer?
The child seat is fixed to the bike and suited to children who can sit up and hold their balance (typically from around 9–12 months up to about 4–5 years depending on the model). The trailer is towed behind the e-bike, better suited to very young children or two children at once — it's more stable, more weather-protected, and allows the child to sleep during the ride. Confirm age and weight limits with the Takamaka team before booking.
Can we rent multiple e-bikes for a group or family outing?
Yes — multiple e-bike rentals are possible, making the full-day formula a great option for a family or group outing on the Basque Coast. The electric assistance levels out fitness differences and keeps the whole group together.
