🔧 Step 1 — Day 1: collect & week programme briefing

Head to the Takamaka shop on arrival in Biarritz. The team brings out your Lapierre, adjusts the saddle, walks you through the Bosch modes (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) and their range implications. It's also the ideal moment for a week briefing: based on your level, your goals, and the forecast weather, the team can help you build your week — which cols to tackle while the legs are fresh, which days to set aside for trails, when to plan the Spanish day trip.

🌊 Step 2 — Days 2 to 4: the coast, hinterland & first cols

The first days are for finding your rhythm on the Basque terrain with the machine. Biarritz's seafront, Anglet's beaches, the Vélodyssée north toward Bayonne and south toward Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Hendaye — to warm up. Then the first roads into the hinterland: Ainhoa, Espelette, Sare, and the first cols like the Col de Saint-Ignace or Col de Mehatze — on the most capable machine in the catalogue for this kind of mixed terrain.
