I’m new to surfing and was worried about choosing a board that was too technical. The team recommended an 8-foot foam board, which was really stable and made me feel confident as I caught my first waves. I also hired a full-body wetsuit, which was really handy once I was in the water! The shop is right next to Grande Plage, so you can pick up your kit and head straight out to surf. Perfect for a first-time experience.
We came to surf with a group of friends and everyone was able to choose a board suited to their level: foam boards for the beginners, shortboards for the more experienced, and even a longboard to make the most of the small waves. I thought it was brilliant to have so much choice rather than just one range of boards. We also hired bodyboards with fins to mix things up a bit. A great place to organise a surfing session in Biarritz!
A highly recommended place to hire equipment! The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. We hired three paddleboards for half a day (3 × 20 euros). The equipment is good quality and the staff were kind enough to let us leave a bag there whilst we were out on the water.

You can choose between a shorty and a full-length wetsuit, available in sizes S to XXL, subject to availability. Lycra and any necessary accessories are also provided depending on the equipment hired. Please remember to select the package that matches the duration of your session.
