Road bike

I came to Biarritz for a few days and was really keen to explore the roads of the Basque Country by bike. I hired a road bike for the day and had a brilliant time! The scenery changes constantly between the coast and the inland areas, and the narrow roads offer some lovely challenges. The bike was well-equipped for my ride. A great option for cyclists passing through the region!

My partner is a keen cyclist and I wanted to join him on a ride whilst we were on holiday. We hired our bikes from Takamaka and set off to explore the Basque hinterland. I was a bit worried about the hills, but we chose a route suited to my ability. The scenery was magnificent and we discovered places we would never have seen otherwise

Carbon Bike

I was looking for a road bike to keep up my training whilst I was in Biarritz. Hiring the bike was straightforward and I was able to set off on the region’s hilly roads. The Basque Country really is a great place to practise climbing and accelerating. It’s handy to be able to hire a bike for a day or for several days without having to transport your own. I’d recommend this to cyclists who want to get out on their bikes whilst on holiday!
