The route can include stops at an Espelette pepper farm, a Basque cake maker, a Bayonne ham drying house, or a makhila (walking stick) craftsman's workshop, passing through typical villages such as Aïnhoa, Sare, Ahetze, Arcangues, Bassilour, or Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle.
